Why did we rebrand?

When we (Mike and Janine) purchased Ellipsis Coffeehouse back in April 2022, we always had the intention of rebranding and revitalizing the space to make it our own. We wanted to bring our love for the outdoors into the city.

Why do we love the outdoors? I mean, what’s not to love? But really, we were 2 Chicago kids who moved to Los Angeles for almost 10 years. In those years we started to go on hikes and camping trips and realized how much we appreciated disconnecting from our phone driven day to day lives and how much adventure was really out there. We feel like everyone should experience that feeling. So, we’re going to try to bring the vibes and maybe introduce new people to the world of nature and National Parks!

Over the next few months we will be replacing our signs with our new name as well as making changes to our interior. We will bring warmer, more neutral tones to the cafe walls while keeping the welcoming atmosphere you all have come to know and love. We will also be working towards expanding our food offerings! And while we are getting a little facelift, our staff and existing product will stay the same.
